Abstract :
This paper presents a scheme to perform the message sharing of the Integrated Protection for power system. The concept of integrated protection is introduced, in which data and message allover the substation even the whole power system can be obtained. Software of the integrated protection is designed to achieve the message sharing goal. As the basic unit in the software program, every thread stands for a protection function. Examples are given of typical threads cooperation relationships based message sharing. Integrated protection with message sharing could have significant advantages over the existing protection techniques based on individual element.
