Abstract :
Small capacity PV substation in power system analysis was considered as the load, but it is not right to the MW PV substation due to so many bulk capacities. In response to this question, the dynamic modeling and transient fault analysis of feeder in distribution system with MW PV substation is researched. The key of the PV modeling is to consider the dynamic behavior of power electronic circuit in feeder fault, and the dynamic system impedance is described. Then the transient of fault analysis in distribution system with PV substation is introduced, and the impact to relay is also analyzed. The work of the paper is valued to the research on the novel feeder protection and control scheme design in distribution system with DGs.
