  • Abstract
Science and technology award is an important measure adopted by colleges and universities in order to increase their science and technology strength. Compared with two groups´ relative data under different award, the paper tested the significance of means difference, so as to verify the relationship between the level of science technology award and the paper output. Data analysis indicates that relying solely on the effect of science and technology award as a stimulating factor is hard to raise the research level of a unit or increase the high-level paper output abilities. Other methods should be combined, such as recruiting and training professionals, setting research tasks requirement and optimizing incentives.
