Abstract
By employing case-based reasoning, five composed modules of early-warning system for collegial emergency are brought forward. On this basis, two subsystems - knowledge discovery and case-based reasoning - compose the structural framework of the early-warning system and the operational principle are given. Moreover, the probable tech-bottleneck of the key details is brought forward and the possible solution is given, such as case database building, case knowledge representation, case retrieval, case adjustment and case learning.
