Study of competitiveness improvement strategies for Chinese construction industry based on Diamond Model

In view of the status quo that the whole construction industries are lack of competitiveness in china, combined with the characteristics of construction industry, this paper systematically analyzed the key factors that influence the competitiveness of construction industry by deductive methods and relying on Professor Porter´s Diamond Model. Based on this, we analyzed the current problems that existed in the development process of domestic construction industry by applying the idea of systematic analysis. Finally, we put forward corresponding strategies against the existing issues from nation, region and enterprise level respectively.
