Study on application of value engineering in improvement of production operation in oilfield?

This paper established the value analysis method of oil production operation based on function and cost analysis. The alternative programs were developed and implemented from the aspects of obtaining data, transmitting data, operating facilities, monitoring facilities and maintaining facilities. During the implementation, adopting digital technique and automatic control mode replaced the artificial operation in the original production mode. With the changes of function and cost, the value of production operation of the oilfield has been enhanced and good economic benefits has been achieved.
