  • Abstract
    In this paper we propose that non-uniform illumination in cow image can be eliminated by homomorphic filter. We also give the determination of parameter of Butter worth high pass filter according to the distribution features of energy using homomorphic filter. In this paper we exploit the optimal threshold method to determine the best threshold. We also propose a new region growing method based on the statistical characteristics of color difference in cow image. The experimental results show that the proposed method can effectively produce a binary cow image.
