Abstract :
The traditional service matching approach is to find a service that meets the functional need when an agent can not provide this service. This approach is not enough, for even if the service needed is found, the corresponding norm has to be violated and the addressee of the norm has to be punished heavily because of the violation. A norm based approach in n dimension space is proposed to the service matching to cope with the problem. Under this approach, an agent can find the service needed, and at the same time keep away from norm violation as much as possible. We consider the approach in two respects: on the one hand, We construct the decentralized regulation environment in terms of multiple institutions ( n dimensions ). Different institutions can provide different services which have the same effect, but the corresponding norms are perhaps different. Matching a service can be performed in multiple institutions, not just in one institution. Any one of these services which does not cause norm violation can be a candidate; on the other hand, we extend the service matching approach taking social norms into account. After this consideration, the system becomes more efficient in VO formation.
