Abstract
In the market, the future competitive forces of power companies depend on their abilities of managing and using the risk. The electricity market of our country has formed new operation mode that the power grid is divided into three levels which are the national network, regional network and provincial network. Provincial power company will face the risk of higher electricity purchased costs and insufficient electricity for purchasing after participating in regional electricity market transaction. The correct purchase strategy will enable the electricity purchased costs and risk of the provincial power company minimize. This paper builds the optimization model of the proportion of purchased electricity among the inner-provincial market, outer-provincial market, spot market, and the contract market to control the risk of the power company.
