Abstract
The influence of polymercaluminum ferric chloride on activated sludge system was researched by bench-scale experiment. PAFC was dropped into activated sludge system, the influence laws of dehydrogen activity (DHA), sludge volume index(SVI) and CODCr were analysed. The results show: 60mg·L-1 was optimal concentration of PAFC, DHA was increased obviously, SVI was reduced obviously, and concentration of CODCr was decreased obviously. This study clearly indicated:If the proper concentration of PAFC was dropped into, biological activity of activated sludge system would be heightened, settlement performance be improved, removal of CODCr be increased.
