Abstract :
"Energy-saving" and "suitable for living" are the direction and features of the current residential building design. Because of the diversity of land conditions in districts of Wuhan City, the "energy-saving and suitable for living" design of residential building in different districts should have different characteristics. A new strategy for designing the "Energy-saving" and "suitable for living" Wuhan City was given by first dividing Wuhan into 7 different districts based on building density and size of water surface, and then giving the specialized design of residential buildings for each districts.
