Abstract :
By focusing on pumping diseases beneath the cement concrete pavement under rainy weather and heavy-loading transportation, this paper analyzed the stress in the cement concrete pavement with different thickness (20~32cm) in pumping status when it is worked under different loading of vehicles. By using finite elements method, this paper has established a 3D finite element model when the concrete pavement is in pumping status, and respectively calculated the loading stress in positions such as slab corner, central of longitudinal joint, transverse joint and slab central. The theoretical analysis shows that, adding the thickness of the slab will effectively defend against the pumping with certain area, reduce loading stress and avoid the crack damage to the concrete pavement. However, the thicker the slab is added, the less effect for the pumping. Therefore, choosing cement concrete pavement slab in super thickness (28~32cm) for heavy transportation and rainy area is necessary to reduce the impact caused by pumping under slab.
