Abstract
Raw materials for farm products, including milk and animal protein (meat), contain water, carbon, and nutrients. Manure and farm process wastewater contain the same constituents. These resources are environmental pollutants if not managed properly. Money is spent to buy the raw materials and then to dispose of the same materials, albeit in a more complex form-and waste management is expensive.
