Abstract
This study was carried out to investigate the effects of granularities on anaerobic fermentation of corn stalk, three kinds of corn stalk granularities (9-18cm, 2-4cm and 0.6-2mm) were selected in this experiment. The main components of corn stalk fore-and-aft the anaerobic fermentation were measured, also the content of CH4 of biogas were detected. It was found that both the corn stalk´s conversion and the biogas output of the granularities in 2-4cm were higher than the other two kinds of size, and it can reach 65.03%, 11.80ml/gTS under medium temperature condition and 59.41%, 11.4ml/gTS under normal temperature condition.
