Abstract :
The pile dwelling buildings are widely distributed in China, and this kind of architectures contains a lot of low-tech experiences to adapt to environment in its development process. These experiences are still worthy of reference by today´s eco-architctures. At the same time, renovation of traditional pile dwelling with the modern technology will greatly improve the energy-saving effect, which will help the old building to reduce carbon emissions. The unvarnished eco-experience inherited by pile dwelling and combined modern technology will have broader prospects.
