Abstract

Large amounts of village sewage without treatment in the Tai Lake region were directly discharged into water. That´s one of the most important reasons of water quality deterioration of the water system of Tai Lake. Investigation and statistics on treatment technologies of village sewage in the study areas were conducted in the paper. The pollutants production of village sewage in the study areas in 2007, the treatment amount of village sewage in 2009 and the reduction rate were all calculated. Moreover, the typical treatment technologies of village sewage in the study areas were mainly studied. The on-the-spot investigation of typical processes was conducted. The water was sampled and analyzed. Then the most proper process was selected and spread. The data obtained from the present study provided basal information for the treatment of village sewage in Tai Lake region.
