Abstract :
Energy tax implementation is critical for the environmental protection and economic sustainable development of China, and the production cost and energy consumption price will accordingly rise as a result of the extra energy tax cost incurring. In this situation, a clean living environment is helped to be established because of the declining social demand for traditional energy and the application of more green energy substitute. Energy tax implementation is of vital significance for the economy of China, and the most direct influence is on energy demand. The relationship of supply elasticity and demand elasticity needs to be take into consideration, and the equations of energy demand, energy price, consumption price and tax revenue will all change because of the energy tax implementation. Secondly, it is possible to broaden the social income distribution gap since the return for capital and labor would be influenced by energy tax on different extends. It is also necessary to compare the influence on GDP, social investment, production element return, import and export to trace the extract reason for its impact on the whole social economy. Finally, the energy tax implementation is beneficial for environmental protection by reducing the emission of various pollutants.
