Abstract :
Quality features of raw materials, components will transfer to final products with the passes of the physical materials along the supply chain. If there are any quality deviations or defects of raw materials (or components), it will affect the whole functions of final product in supply chain. With the applications of deviation flow and deviation transfer concepts, the authors study on the transfer laws of product quality deviation in supply chain, build up deviation transfer model and variance transfer model of product quality features in supply chain. The model can be used to predict the degree of quality deviation of the whole supply chain and also predict the overall quality risks of the whole supply chain. This study offers a theoretic basis and method for enterprises to strengthen quality management in supply chain.
