Abstract :
This paper investigated into whether psychological safety, the fully discussed mechanism aimed at motivating voice, can be universally effective for people who differs across culture. Based on Hofstede´s cultural framework, we contend that individualism-collectivism and power diatance moderate the relationship between psychological safety and voice to supervisor. When employees are high in collectivism and/or power distance, the relationships turn out to be weaker.
