  • Abstract
    An added balcony structure for existing building is proposed. Composition of the structure and the working principle is also introduced. Based on the climate features in Hangzhou, essential parameter and a building model with energy-saving balcony are established in DeST. The software analyzed the room temperature and the energy consumption under different working conditions. Finally, the paper discusses the energy-saving balcony with potential social benefits and economic value.
