Abstract
Concrete age is an important parameter which determines property of concrete material, while frequency characteristics of acoustic emission signal in concrete material is contacting with strength and stress state, etc. So it is very important to effectively extract useful information in material concrete inspection. Study on frequency characteristics of acoustic emission signal in different concrete material with different age has been made, and the results show that acoustic emission signal in low strength level concrete is mostly low frequency signal in different age, while it increases in middle or high level strength as the age increasing. When the age is equality, strength level has significant effect on frequency characteristics of acoustic emission signal, especially when the stress level is high, frequency characteristics of acoustic emission signal in concrete material with different strength level takes on very great difference.
