  • Abstract
    As environment plays an important role in tourism industry, evaluation of tourism environment has become a key part of tourism research. According to the research results at home and abroad, an evaluation index system of tourism environment was established. On the basis of the index system, fuzzy matter-element model was used in evaluating the good or bad of tourism environment. Taking prefecture-level cities of Hebei province as an example, the evaluation results show that it is consistent with actual situation of tourism development, so the model proves to be effective and feasible. According to existing problems of tourism environment, there puts forward some countermeasures.
