Economic Analysis on China´s Rural Market Development Demand Factors

Understanding the factors affecting rural market development demand has significant implications for rural development and farmer income support policy. this paper analyzes factors influencing rural market development demand. Applying cost-benefit analysis as an analytical framework, it investigates 64 towns and villages in Henan province, results indicate that farmers´ income level, difficulty level to purchase and the distance to market are main factors influence the rural market development. Finally, this paper proposes suggestions for governments and administrators.
