  • Abstract
The field regulation range of Synchronous/Permanent Magnet Hybrid Motor is studied by finite element method and magnetic field distribution of different stator yoke widths is calculated in this paper. Synchronously, the influence of yoke width on field regulation range is analyzed and the characteristic of field regulation of different yoke widths is obtained. These analyses testify the characteristic of field regulation of this motor collides with power density. Finally, the test results are given and consistent with theoretical analysis.
