  • Abstract
Epoxy steel slab bended reinforcement is using epoxy series agglomerant bend steel slab or box iron at the weak position of steel concrete constructures. Steel slab or box iron and steel concrete constitutes a whole body. It can replace reinforcement steel, increase carrying power of structures. On the base of strengthening medium and little span bridges in rural road and bridge rebuilding, providing epoxy steel slab banded reinforcement technique. By analyzing the nature and usage of epoxy steel slab, detailed introducing the construction technology and the key problems of epoxy steel slab banded reinforcing bridges and providing reference for bridge maintenance and reinforcement. The technique of Epoxy steel slab bended reinforcement not only can be used in strengthening main arch of arch bridges, but also can be used in strengthening beam of beam bridges. When using the technique of Epoxy steel slab bended reinforcement, communication can´t be broken and the old bridge can´t be demolished. The technique of Epoxy steel slab bended reinforcement can save fund and it can reduce erection time.
