  • Abstract
    The application of Advanced Traveler Information Service is limited as a result of its high cost and low accuracy. The rapid development of Internet technologies has brought out a promising solution to this problem. An Internet-based traveler information service system has been proposed and designed on basis of the discussion on the developing philosophy of the Internet, and the development of new Internet technologies. The potential defects and solution are also discussed.
