Abstract :
Current remote video monitoring system in substation can not fully play the role it is supposed to have in real-time active supervision. In order to improve the effect of remote video monitoring system, image mosaic technology is introduced firstly. Then an automatic image mosaic SIFT-based method for remote video monitoring system is proposed. The steps of this method are described in detail, and the implementation process of image mosaic is demonstrated by an example. The experimental results show that the proposed method can perform well, and meet the requirement of real project, which is beneficial to improve the safety and reliability of substation operation.
