  • Abstract
    Compared with the traditional air cooling generator, the large capacity generator with immersion type evaporative cooling technology features the similar simple and reliable structure as the air cooling technology, in the mean time, because of the phase change heat transferring process of the evaporative cooling, the heat exchange rate is highly improved. In this paper, based on the boiling heat transfer theory, we calculate the stator cavity surface heat-heat coefficient, and provide the mathematical model and physical model for the three-dimensional temperature field of the stator and provide the calculation results of the mentioned temperature field. Comparison of the calculation with the testing result is also provided. We have also drawn several conclusions, indicating the accuracy of the calculation.
