Abstract :
The photovoltaic (PV) is widely spread now. However, the cost per watt should be still high and it should be low. In this paper we examined to maximize the PV output generation by improving the voltage control. We propose the new Maximum power point tracking (MPPT) control which is named initialization and repulsion PSO (TR-PSO). This MPPT control method has two features. One is when two or more local maximum points exist on P-V characteristic under partial-shading condition, it can reach the Global maximum point. The other is that the control is possible to multi-dimensional control. It is simulated on PV which is controlled by IR-PSO and applied to multi-dimension MPPT. In the result, IR-PSO makes to PV output power increased.
