Abstract

The establishment of innovative laboratory for new products development, which is based on the advanced instruments of digital design, was to provide a platform for student´s practice. In the lab, the development projects of new products were bound with courses of industrial design major. The experiments result shows: studying how to use the advanced digital design instruments, the students could combine the theory and practice and find what he want to study. It was the laboratory that provided a new platform for connecting theory and practice and supported practical basis for industry, education and research.
