Abstract :
Color Universal Design(CUD) is a design concept about the colors and communications and is mainly used to enrich the color of social environment in order to improve recognizabilities of the people who with various color-abilities which can recognize the information related to color easily, accurately and can communicate it accessibly. The Orientation sign in hospital provides spatial cognition and perspectives of overall space which easily make users feel confused, because of its functional complexity and special design. Accordingly, designers should pay attention to understand the demand of people with various color-abilities when doing their design work, and to achieve the goal of Color Universal Design, this work should be revised as repeatedly and continuously as possible.
