Abstract
The routing mechanism and characteristics of Ad hoc On-Demand Distance Vector routing protocol (AODV) is firstly introduced in this paper. Then an improved version of AODV based on node´s bandwidth is proposed. Simulations show that the improved protocol B-AODV is better than AODV in delay, throughput, etc.
