Abstract :
On the situation of the MPLS multicast network in which most net nodes have failed, how to ensure the network recover from failure fast is become a difficult and heated problem. Researching in the basis of MPLS multicast, a creative MPLS multicast technology based on LDP and LSP which has fast repairing ability is proposed. This method can recover the whole network only use original multicast tree information, and needn´t change the whole multicast tree which the traditional multicast recovery scheme must do. Finally, this method is realized in the Linux environment. The experiment results indicate that through this method, the burden of the MPLS router is greatly reduced compared to the traditional scheme and the ability of recovery from failure is also improved obviously.
