Abstract :
The substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) technique realizes that the rectangular waveguide of solid structure are fabricated in planar form using a printed circuit board, which has many advantages such as high Q-factor, low loss, low cost, relatively high-power capacity, and high-density integration of microwave and millimeter wave components. In this paper, A ka-band substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) circulator is proposed and optimized. Bandwidth of 10.7 percent at ka-band has been obtained for VSWR less than 1.25. It also includes the optimization by using High-impedance short-line element.
