Abstract
Finger tapping movements provides a quantitative tool to measure disturbances in the execution of normal motor rhythm, which might be associated with brain damage. Therefore, development of finger-tapping test devices and software is of great importance. Softwares that are made in recent studies needs a computer to be operated. This situation limits the mobility of the test. That´s why in this study, we introduce a software to apply a finger-tapping test through PALM, PDA type Handheld devices and mobile phones. Free and preconditioned finger-tapping tests can be carried out, and test results can be analyzed within the software and saved as text file on mobile device of which touchscreen display is used as finger tapping input.
