  • Abstract
    The paper presents knowledge management (KM) benefits to construction industry organizations and projects related to it. The purpose of this paper is to introduce a concept of knowledge management based models for construction projects. Paper consists of three parts. In the first part the concept of knowledge management in construction is discussed. In the second part different knowledge management models presented in scientific literature are discussed and compared with new developed models. In the third part, the architecture of Knowledge Based Decision Support System (KBDSS) for Construction Projects Management has been discussed and in addition to it a Multiply Criteria Analysis Method COPRAS application for construction decisions support has been discussed. The paper also converses the Soft Systems Methodology (SSM) which is used for analysis and problem solving complex and unmanageable situations in construction projects.
