Abstract :
Against the existing matching performance that it´s not reasonable of ATV motorcycle design, and the ATV´s UG model was imported ADAMS and added the required constraints after set up the tire model and pavement file, the performance of ATV motorcycle initial acceleration and climbing ability was simulated by virtual prototyping technology. The results show that ATV motorcycle has good start to accelerate capability on the snow road. When the torque of the pulse is inputted, the speed can still maintain good stability, grade ability is only around 30%. Therefore, the simulation results are consistent with the actual situation, it is shown that the model established and constraints added are correct. This study lays a solid foundation for the study of subsequent speed variation and steering simulation and optimization, provides a reference for similar study.
