Abstract :
An automated balancing machine which can perform unbalance measurement and correction automated. It consists of measurement and control unit, mechanical base and execution unit. The function of each unit is demonstrated in detail. The equation of unbalance measurement and correction is deduced. The magnitude of rotor´s unbalance and the mass need to be removed is calculated according to the equation deduced. A data acquisition and control card is used to obtain the unbalance signal and realize the automated operation. AC servo motors with high precision and fast response are used to execute the respected action. A prototype is manufactured to test the thinking. Experiments results indicate that the unbalance reducing rate at one time correction more than 95%. It is very significant to further industrial development.
