Abstract :
Stem cells are pluripotent cells and believed to have huge potential in treatment of many serious and fatal diseases. China Stem Cell Bank is a project supported by Department of Science and Technology to collect, store and distribute stem cell lines nationally under a standard quality control system. Here we constructed a central Stem Cell Bank Management System (CSCBTM system), which is to monitor the national stem cell bank, including cell collection, cell storage, cell distribution, cell quality control and user/procedure management. CSCBTM system would act as a central stem cell management system and sharing center in China.
