Research on painting-features-based Chinese ink animation

In the simulation for Chinese painting, the research on Chinese ink animation is still in the primary phase. The paper introduces an solution of painting-based Chinese ink animation, which includes feature extracting and analyzing, modeling, rendering, and sequence composing. A painting-based Chinese ink animation prototype system is developed according to the solutions. The final experimentation proves the system can create the Chinese ink animation using a piece of Chinese ink painting as chief source, and the animation and the painting share the same theme.
