Abstract :
The construction of the 3-D geological visual model and the numerical model is critical in geotechnical hydroelectric and hydropower projects. The good or bad of the 3-D visual geological model has a direct impact on the understanding, operation and application of geological model. The 3-D visual model can illustrate the spatial combination of discontinuity in slope and disclose the macroscopic failure mode of slope. Transformation of the visual model to numerical model is the needs of engineering calculations, the construction visual model and the transformation of visual model to numerical model can reflect the simulation and dynamic revisability of geological information. In this paper, based on AutoCAD platform,Auto Lisp program is used to generate the 3-D visual model. Moreover, the transformation method from visual models to numerical model is discussed. This technique well combines the excellent graphic editing of AutoCAD and the general numerical computing software, and can be updated visual model and the numerical model according to the change of geological information. Finally, Numerical models are used for the numerical analysis to illustrate the validation and feasibility of the transformed numerical models.
