Abstract :
An integrated software has been developed to meet the needs of the performance study of the neural network position estimators for PET detector. The two primary functions of this software are real-time data acquisition and automatic control. In addition to these features, many other useful functions are also designed with the goal of ease of use and consistency of the user interface. In this paper, the techniques based on object-oriented programming(OOP) and Microsoft Foundation Classes(MFC) for real-time data acquiring from USB device and RS-232 device, flicker-free displaying, and automatic control of experiments related to PET are described.
