Abstract :
Virtual design is an application technology based on virtual reality technology, whose object is to optimize product performance and cost as targets. The problems of crane design were discussed. The application of virtual design in the crane design mainly involves some factors, such as three dimensional modeling design, virtual assembling, virtual movement simulation and document management. It will make the better services for the innovative design of cranes, improve product performance, and reduce the development cycle of new products and costs.
