Abstract
In order to establish the finite element model of the knee-joint, force analysis applies on the knee-joints of persons are done first. The CT scanning images of a normal male volunteer´s upper end of tibia are adopted, which are processed by Mimics 13.0 software to calculate a 3D model. Surfaces of the model are dealt by Geomagic 9.0 software and a smooth shell model is constructed. At the same time, it is constructed by ProE 4.0 software to fill inside and by Ansys 10.0 software to mesh the entities. The 3D finite element models of the upper end of tibia are established and meshed at last.
