Abstract :
According to the requirements about function and performance of support mechanism, a kind of compact multiple structure is designed in this paper. Kinematic analysis of the pendular leg mechanism is performed and particular guided trace of its´ movement is designed, then the optimal kinematical and mechanical characteristics of the support mechanism in the process of contacting ground is guaranteed. Finally, finite element analysis and optimal design of the main parts are accomplished. The support mechanism designed in this paper can be used in different kinds of special purpose vehicles only by a few modulations of the related parameters.
