  • Abstract
    To conduct a research on rail surface irregularity is quite significant for the vehicle operation, the design of rail track and the scientific evaluation on rail status. This paper, based on non-contact measurement principle, with a powerful Lab VIEW platform and PXI devices, combined with eddy current displacement sensor, puts forward a design of rail irregularity detection system of a virtual instrument to realize online real-time display, analysis, processing, storage, search of historical data and printing. It´ll be of practice value to base on the measured data analysis which shows that the system is successful, with high practical value.
