Abstract
In recent years, the effect of globalization environment, and the aging of engineers and skilled workers have tremendously changed the manufacture industry, therefore, transfer of technology and skill has become a very important issue. In this paper, we extract concepts concerning skill for manufacturing processes, defined the metadata of skill in manufacturing processes and proposed the systematization of skill concepts based on ontology from the recognition of importance of technology and skill tradition. With the skill systematization, it is thought that skill information can be easily extracted from the Internet, and is profitable for technology and skill tradition.
