Abstract
The features of droplets formed in contact micro-liquid dispensing have a great influence on the dispensing process that it is important to research the droplets´ formation. Based on computational fluid dynamics(CFD) and FLUENT, the paper simulates the droplets´ formation, and the results show that the effects of reagent characteristics and system parameters on the formation are considerable. It also points out the necessary conditions for droplets´ adhesion and shape forming which is favorable to contact micro-liquid dispensing. The research has a great signification of guiding contact micro-liquid dispensing and improving liquid dispensing technologies.
