Abstract :
We presented a high performance diplexer is designed and fabricated for Global System for mobile communications (GSM) applications in this paper,. Two square open-ring bandpass filters (BPFs), operated at 0.9 GHz and 1.8 GHz, and are used for the diplexer mainly. The size reduction, the deep and wide stop-band from 0.51 GHz to 4.9 GHz can be obtained when modifying the stepped-impedance resonator (SIR) in the BPFs, The improved passband selectivity is obtained since several transmission zeros are located at the passband edges The simulated and measured results have a good agreement with the proposed design concept.
