  • Abstract
    In this paper, a new I-band high-Q broad-side-coupled triple split-ring resonator (BSCT-SRR) with left-handed metamaterial is presented. Since the BSCT-SRR provides a sharp band rejection characteristic, a high Q-factor can be realized for an I-band resonator. The resonator is designed to operate at 10 GHz using the proposed BSCT-SRR. The experimental result shows the Q-factor value of 151.
